The ongoing feud between popular Ghanaian actor Sumsum Ahuofe and socialite Sexy Afrah has reached a heated new level after Sumsum publicly issued a threat of placing a curse on Afrah over her recent comments denying any intimate relationship with him.
Appearing in an interview with Papa Jay on Poleeno Multimedia on August 26, 2025, Sumsum declared his intent to use a Bible, schnapps, and eggs—a traditional form of swearing in Ghana—if Afrah continues to refute claims of a past romantic involvement. Sumsum directly responded to Afrah’s appearance on the Delay Show, where she adamantly denied ever being in a relationship with him.
Sumsum described the beginnings of their alleged relationship, stating it started in Obuasi after a lengthy evening conversation, followed by Afrah visiting him at his hotel where their intimacy allegedly took place. He noted that other stars, including musician Patapaa, were present at the hotel and aware of Afrah’s visit.
The actor explained that his decision to speak publicly was in response to what he called “disrespectful remarks” made by Afrah, especially as he had previously defended her from negative comments by other public figures. Sumsum expressed disappointment and hurt at her denial, suggesting it tarnished his image and undermined their shared past.
He concluded the interview by warning that should Afrah persist in denying the relationship and continuing to damage his reputation, he would have no choice but to invoke a curse, using traditional methods to seek spiritual vindication.
