Comfort Konadu, the London based Ghanaian cleaner who was arrested for spending money that was sent to her by a charity mistakenly has been granted an interview with Kofi Tv; detailing what exactly happened.
According to Madam Confort who is to be sentenced 15 months in prison, she shops around various markets in London and brings them to Ghana to sell to market women and men.
One day she purchased some goods but found that they were spoilt so took it back to be replaced. she took similar once which were not up to the price of the initial so her balanced of £9.00 was to sent to her account but received £90,000.00 instead.

on why she spent the money, Comfort Konadu indicated that prior to that, she was expecting her fellow Ghanaian to send her £9000 so she saw it as the amount she was to receive.
After finding out the money did not form a legitimate source and it was a mistake, acted fast by calling her bank to rectify how that could be possible. she was later invited by the police for interrogation where she disclosed she has sent some to other accounts.
Comfort Konadu detailed that this case happened in October last year but due to their investigations over the case, it has prolonged till now.
