I didn’t steal my ‘Confusion’ song – Kwami Eugene

”Angela” hit maker, Kwami Eugene has refuted claims that he stole and sampled his recent hit song “Confusion” from one Malian Musician who is known as Sidiki Diabaté who released the same version of the song back in 2015 and has garnered more than 15 million views on Youtube.

In an Interview with Abeiku Santana on Accra based radio station, Okay FM, Kwami Eugene answering questions on the theft accusation claim said, he took an inspiration from three musicians to compose the song “Confusion” which has harvested more than 315,000 views on Youtbe in 4 days after release.

“Ghanaians must note the fact that, my song has the feel of Kojo Antwi’s “Dadie Anoma”, Daddy Lumba and also an inspiration from Sidiki Diabaté song ‘Fais moi Confiance‘, so I didn’t steal the song, I only took an inspiration from them and credited all of them in the song, that is the definition of creativity……..the “Ebeyeyie hit maker stated.

Kwami Eugene also argued that, “Ebony took an inspiration from Daddy Lumba’s song “Poison” and composed her hit song “poison as well as Nigeria’s Wizkid also sampled VIP’s “Ahomka Womu” and came out with “Manya”, but that doesn’t mean they stole the songs , they only paying respects to the legends”.

Pushed further, Kwami Eugene added that,“Sidiki Diabaté’s song gathering more than 15m views on Youtube has nothing to do with why I feed on the song, it was just an inspiration feeding on the vibes.

“To me what really makes an artist is researching to be able to give your fans variety of music and that is why Kojo Antwi releases highlife today and reggae tomorrow because Ghanaians gets fed up with one stuff, however, picking a vibe from Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba and Malian artist enriches the song and gives the song a Mailan feel as well as Ghanaian feel, but at the end of the day, the song is a highlife song and that is why I credited them by writing highlife music to the world…he concluded.

The production team for Okay FM drive time show, “Ekwanso Dwoodwoo” revealed that, speaking to the manager for Sidiki Diabaté off air, he tranquilly said he has no idea of the song been sampled or stolen by a musician in Ghana called Kuami Eugene, hence it was a breaking news to him.

Video of Captain Smart’s Beautiful Mansion and Cars

He has been interdicted because of his utterances on air which the company described as were “designed to bring their business into disrepute.” [You can listen to those utterances that caused his interdiction here].

However, from a video and some photos we have  seen, Mr. Smart has a beautiful home in Tantra Hill, a suburb in Accra to be specific.

The radio presenter was celebrating his wife, Afia Pokua’s (mind you, she is not the Afia Pokua of the same Adom FM) birthday and the inside of his home caught our attention.

And now, below is the video which caught our attention in the first place – She was celebrating his wife’s birthday.

Sarkodie has shared new photos of his daughter Titi on IG all dressed up as a lawyer-an indication that Sarkodie wants her daughter to study law when she grows up, so she can manage the legal aspects of his business.

In the photos he shared, Titi looked cute in her ‘lawyer’ outfit but also had a very serious face on as though she understands the task ahead of her.

The ‘Highest’ rapper wrote when he posted the photos; “Madam Maame Adwoa Owusu Addo – Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana … Chambers – @cqlegal”

Doctor who forged Nayas’ fake pregnancy results arrested

A source close to the embattled Ghanaian Gospel artist, Ernest Opoku has confirmed to Eugene Baah of Happy FM that following the revelation that Gladys Mensah Boako aka Nayas is not pregnant, the police have arrested the doctor who forged the fake pregnancy results of the actress.

Nayas took to the media to reveal that Ernest Opoku has impregnated her and tried to bribe her to abort the pregnancy with GHS5000 and 15 pieces of GTP cloths. Failing to abort the child, Ernest Opoku has been avoiding her.

Ernest Opoku after days of denial finally confirmed that indeed he has dated the actress. Ghanaians were still debating the issue in the media when Nayas took a cane to the studios of Adom FM to bitterly lash the singer when he was performing Live worship in the FM station.

Well, the issue fast escalated after that and Ernest, as well as the Multimedia group, had Nayas arrested.

Ernest insisted Nayas takes another pregnancy test at a different hospital where it was later emerged after the test that she was not pregnant. In fact, the report went on to say Nayas has never been pregnant within the past 7 months.

This new development has shocked many people who can’t understand why a woman will formulate such lies just to disgrace a man who dumped her.

According to the source who spoke with Happy FM’s Eugene Baah, Nima Police has arrested the doctor who performed the first test and he is currently being questioned by the police.
