Ebony was on the verge of joining Akon’s Konvict Music in deal worth $1m

Famous American R&B signer Akon was on the verge of signing Ebony to his Konvict Music group in a massive deal worth more $1m before she died last week, Ghanaguardian.com can exclusively reveal.

According to Bullet, manager of the dancehall songstress, talks were far advanced with Akon for them to seal the massive deal before she got involved in the motor accident that took her life.

Akon, the Senegalese born American singer, who has been heavily involved in the African music market has already signed P-Square, Tuface, and Wizkid to his label.

He was keen on signing Ebony to be his first Ghanaian female artiste and catapult her to global prominence with his influence in the big time industry.

The revelation comes after CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah, claimed that he had reached an agreement for Ebony to join his music label.

But her current manager Bullet says they had bigger plans of taking her to the next level with the deal with Akon.

The ‘Kupe’ hitmaker would have joined some of the big names in the music industry in the world, giving her tyhe chance to explode globally.

Konvict Muzik is a record label founded by R&B singer Akon.

Other than Akon, popular artists such as T-Pain, A-Wax, Kat DeLuna, American Yard and French Montana Jonn Hart Verse Simmonds have signed in the past or are still present on the label.

At the beginning of most Konvict Muzik artists’ songs there is the sound of the clank of a jail cell, followed by Akon uttering “Konvict”.

Akon started his own label after the success of his debut album. Akon has signed a deal with Columbia Records and Epic Records for new artists signed to Konvict.

Akon has signed Nigerian artistes: P-Square, Tuface, and Wizkid as representatives of his record label Konvict Muzik in Africa.

He revealed this in December 2011 in Lagos at the unveiling of Cintron energy drink, which took place in footballer Jay Jay Okocha’s club Number 10.

Shatta Wale can be a very good preacher – Evangelist

Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale “can be a very good preacher,” says Evangelist (Dr.) Lawrence Tetteh.

Speaking at the one week memorial service for the late Ebony at the St. Martin De Porres on Sunday, February 18, 2018, he noted that Wale’s aggressive nature makes him a perfect fit.

“Somebody tell Shatta Wale, he can be a very good preacher. He should come and preach with us,” expressed Dr. Tetteh.

“I saw Shatta Wale’s aggression in a video and I told my wife this man if God gets hold of him, he will be a good preacher.”

Dr. Tetteh is the leader of UK-based World Miracle Outreach. He is said to be the spiritual father of Ebony,

He also spoke about the need for artistes to give their lives to Christ because “nobody will be here in a 100 years’ time.”

He debunked claims that the death of Ebony is as a result of spiritual forces.

I haven’t slept with MzVee – Richie Mensah

“Primarily, if you want to manage a female artiste successfully, you have to be in a relationship; an emotional relationship and a sexual relationship with the artiste.”

These are the words of Nana Asiamah Hanson, better known as Bulldog on Hitz FM’s DayBreak Hitz show when he was asked to comment on the relationships between female artistes and their male managers.

As bizarre as his statement might be, his opinion has been corroborated by one of the key players in the Creative Arts industry, Mark Okraku-Mantey.

According to him, “some man will sit in his house and take decisions for you because you have invested in his wife and he will call the shots…and because your money is in there, you will conform whether it will help your investment or not…”

On this premise, the C.E.O of Slip Entertainment suggested that it was prudent for male managers to date their female artistes in order to safeguard their investment.

On the contrary, renowned music producer, Richie Mensah, who has also produced female artistes such as Eazzy, MzVee and Irene Logan disagrees with Mark Okraku Mantey on his assertion.

Richie Mensah, the C.E.O of Lynx Entertainment, stated that the careers of most of his female artistes have blossomed but denied having any amorous relationship with them.

“I haven’t slept with any female artiste,” he told Naa Ashorkor on Showbiz A-Z on Joy FM on Saturday.

“Can I refute one of the things he (Mark) said? …The point is, dynamics happen anywhere. It could be a wife, it can be a brother, it could be a father, it could be anything,” he stressed.

Though Richie Mensah agreed that a cordial relationship should exist between artistes and managers to foster progress, he maintained that a love affair is not the solution in safeguarding a manager’s investment in an artiste.

Ebony Will Rise From Death Within 2 Weeks Because God Only Wanted To Teach Her Something, All I Need Is Her Corpse–Prophetess (+Video)

The untimely demise of female Dancehall sensation Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng affectionately known as Ebony Reigns has multiplied the number of God’s servant in Ghana within a blink.

This is because prophecies of different shades are popping up at every passing day from the camp of these infinite servants of God.

Arguably, the most pressing of all the intruding prophecies off late is coming from the camp of Prophetess Agyeiwaa Kodeɛ who is based in the Garden City – Kumasi particularly Breman. According to the prophetess, Ebony is just relaxing or better still asleep and she can resurrect her when given the go-ahead by the family.

“God has revealed to me that He gave Ebony two weeks ultimatum and she will come back to life on Sunday, February 25, 2018. All I need now is the corpse of Ebony and with our God of possibilities, Ebony will resurrect,” she told Alexis the God Son, the host of Angel church bells on Kumasi based Angel FM.

Prophetess Agyeiwaa Kodeɛ continues to debunk rumours that Mr. Opoku Kwarteng who doubles as Ebony’s father has traded the soul of his daughter for occultic powers. More importantly, she insisted that Ebony is never dead per the encounter she had had with the ultimate reality – God.
