I can’t wait to visit Ghana for the very first time – Jérôme Boateng

German and Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng has revealed plans to make a trip to Ghana, the country of his father for the very first time.

Jerome was Born to a Ghanaian father and a German mother in Berlin, the 29-year-old won the Fifa World Cup with Die Mannschaft in 2014.

Taking to his social media handles, the legendary defender expressed his joy and happiness of visiting his mother-land for the very first time.

“Special trip ahead… can‘t wait to visit Ghana for the very first time 🙌🏽🇬🇭 #roots #africa”, he wrote on Facebook.

Jérôme is the junior brother of former Ghana International footballer, Kevin-Prince Boateng.

KP Boateng chose to play professionally for Ghana whiles Jérôme also decided to play for  Germany.

It’s good altogether that he’s finally coming back to visit his roots — Ghana.

Just recently, renowned football icon, Mario Ballotelli also professed that he’s proud to be a Ghanaian.
