I do not recognize Akufo-Addo as the president-elect because Mahama won – Michael Afrane [Video]

Prince Charles tests positive for coronavirus

Kumawood actor Michael Afrane has said, in the heat of all the election brouhaha, that he does not recognize Akufo-Addo as the president-elect because John Mahama won.

According to the unapologetic supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the election figures as presented by the Electoral Commission (EC) do not reflect the true pattern of voting by Ghanaians at the polls.

In an interaction with ZionFelix on the Uncut Show, Michael Afrane said he is unable to accept the election results and the declaration of Akufo-Addo as president-elect especially when he believes Ghanaians voted for John Mahama of the NDC.

“I will be the first to congratulate Akufo-Addo if he truly won. As it stands, I do not think he is the rightful winner of the December 7 election. Mahama won,” he said in Twi.

Meanwhile, the NDC and their supporters have remained strong and adamant in their resolve to have the EC overturn the election result since they believe the whole exercise was rigged in favour of the NPP.
