Araya, who couldn’t believe her eyes, said she was nervous when she was informed about Sarkodie’s decision to work with her in a music video.
“I never thought I will be recognized this way. The director [of the video] saw my stuff on Instagram and he got in touch with me. He said he showed my stuff to Sarkodie and he was impressed. He felt adamant to mention the artiste who wants me to be in his music video initially…But he couldn’t hide it forever,” the ‘Ogya’ singer said amidst laughter in a recent interview with Tactikal Shifo on Cheers 100.5 FM in Sunyani which we monitored .
“In fact I was nervous so I did not inform anyone about it. Even after the shooting until they saw it themselves,” she disclosed.
The Sunyani indigene who now plies her trade in Accra stressed that the support from outsiders has been great.
