Celebrated Ghanaian music record producer, Da Hammer has recounted his near-death experience and how he was able to escape it narrowly.
According to him, contracting COVID-19 taught him a bitter yet true lesson about life. That has made him appreciate the fact that Coronavirus is real thus people out there need to be careful.
Da Hammer has disclosed that he had symptoms of malaria and fever. He was not really concerned about it since he knew they were occasional health problems that will go away after some time.
Well, after some days, he realized that his health was deteriorating. He rushed to the hospital and was told he had contracted Coronavirus.
According to Da Hammer, he began to have a very serious problem with breathing and was already panting for breath. His ability to breathe comfortably was virtually hijacked by the Coronavirus.
At that point, Da Hammer thought he was going to die especially when the nurses were nowhere to help him. He saw death, battled it, came out alive but with scars all over.
“It was 1 am, and I was suffering. The bell that calls the Nurses wasn’t working. So I really thought that I was going to go. My breathing became a problem. I was suffering. I had a panic attack. It was 1 am I was calling the nurse. I think I actually shed a tear because I was scared.
“Listen, I was afraid. I was afraid, and I thought I was going to go. So I was scared. So I was doing these videos because I truly thought I was going to go. And I wanted to leave something behind that people could use, especially my family,” he concluded.
