The award-winning musician further revealed that prior to her selling at the popular magazine, she used to trek to one village in the hinterlands to sell for her parents because they were informed that even though the place looked very poor, the residents there were the best in buying of goods.
She was in the studios of Agyenkwa FM to talk about her upcoming album launch. The launch is slated to take place on March 17 at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Adenta Frafraha.
The songs on the ‘Wasue Me’ album include Ma Enye Yie, I Am Coming Out, Amen, Aseda Nwom, Wagye Me and Wasue Me. The 4pm album launch will feature some A-List artistes, including Ceccy Twum, Piesie Esther, Joe Mettle, SP Kofi Sarpong, Brother Sammy, Joyce Blessing, Empress Gifty Adorye and Abena Serwaa Ophelia.
Proceeds from the album launch will be used to support the poor and the needy. According to Obaapa Christy, anyone who would make it to the album launch would never leave the place the same.
