President John Dramani Mahama has promised a job filled second term in office if only Ghanaians would give him another chance.
The President, speaking to resident in the Brong Ahafo Region, talked about his plans to create over 400,000 jobs within the next four years, mainly targeted at the youth.
A freeze on government employment and a worsening economic crisis exacerbated by dumsor has led to high levels of unemployment within the past four years of the NDC government, especially affecting graduates fresh out of school.
But the President has promised a new era of job growth if handed the reins for another four years. He told the teeming crowd in the Brong Ahafo Region that under the next Mahama government, 400,000 new jobs would be created under the Youth Employment Agency to provide skills and employment opportunities for the young.
