Renowned Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola has candidly shared details about her personal life, revealing that she is currently single and has no children at age 52.
In a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria, Akintola confirmed her status when asked about children, simply stating, “No, I don’t unfortunately.” On her marital situation, she was quick to clarify that remaining single wasn’t a deliberate choice, emphasizing, “Not chosen oo.”
Bimbo Akintola, born on May 5, 1973, has enjoyed a distinguished career in the Nigerian film industry since her debut in 1995’s Owo Blow alongside Femi Adebayo. She further captivated audiences with her role in Out of Bounds in 1997, starring beside Richard Mofe Damijo.
A proud Lagos native, she attended Maryland Convent Private School and Command Day Secondary School before earning a Theatre Arts degree from the University of Ibadan. Most recently, Akintola featured as Inspector Mo Ogunlesi in Kemi Adetiba’s series To Kill a Monkey.
