Mrs Gifty Gyan, wife of Ghana Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, has finally opened up on issues surrounding her marriage to the footballer which have been centered around a divorce and a DNA test to ascertain the paternity of her kids.
According to a report we sighted on Mynewsgh.com, wife of the footballer reportedly reiterated the fact that she was not a cheat as some people have alleged in several reportage and have cited as a reason for the split.
The report went on to indicate that Mrs Gifty Gyan indicated that she was willing to let her children undergo the DNA test suggested by brother of the Black Stars captain, Baffour Gyan, to prove that the children are truly Asamoah Gyan’s.
However, the same report went on to say that Gifty Gyan was unhappy about the situation due to the effect it could have on her children because they had been dragged into the issue.
News about Asamoah Gyan and Gifty’s divorce have gone viral, as well as Gyan’s request for DNA tests to be carried out on all their children.
The two had lived happily together until reports broke out that the respected striker had filed for divorce at a high court in Accra.
The reports have it that Gyan and his wife have not been seeing eye to eye lately, and he feels the best way to end it all is to divorce his wife whom he has been with for 15 years.
Apart from the divorce, Gyan is also demanding DNA tests to be carried out on all their three children to ascertain their paternity.
Meanwhile, a lady called Nina Atalah, has been reported to be the one behind Gyan’s reason for wanting to divorce his wife.
Nina, according to reports, has dated some rich and popular men including Buju Banton before moving on to Asamoah Gyan. In an earlier report , Gifty was seen jamming to Kuami Eugene’s ‘Wish Me Well’ and it cannot be ascertained if it had something to do with their current issues.
Gifty Gyan met Asamoah Gyan in 2002 and married him in 2013 after they had dated for 11 years. She got pregnant in 2005 and gave birth to the player’s firstborn, Frederick Asamoah Gyan.
