Andre Ayew’s sister, Imani Ayew was in the stands to watch him make his competitive debut for his new club Fenerbahçe S.K. in a 2-1 win over Bursaspor.
The budding model joined thousands in the over 50,000 capacity ?ükrü Saraco?lu Spor Kompleksi to watch goals by Giuliano and Souza cancel out an early goal from William Troost-Ekong as Fenerbahçe opened their season with a win.
Ayew, 28, was handed a start by coach Phillip Cocu but was replaced in the closing seconds of the game by Alper Potuk.
He received a yellow card in the 35th minute.
Ayew later in a Tweet expressed delight at making his league debut adding that he was looking forward to his first league goal.
He posted: “Proud to play my first league game for FENER ???????? 3 points ????????gutted not to get a goal today inshallah soon… Our fans are incredible ???????? Let’s prepare for Tuesday ???????? @Fenerbahce”.
