My day of shame more popular than Kumi Guitar’s entire career – Afia Schwar brags

Television personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has said the day she was caught being laid by another man on her matrimonial bed gained more prominence than the entire career of Kumi Guitar.

The maverick celebrity born Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, in September last year was caught red-handed by her ex-husband, Lawrence Abrokwah, being laid by another man which is said to have sparked the end of their short-lived marriage.

In a two minute, twenty-three-second video recording of the entire incident believed to have happened at the home of Afia Schwarzenegger at the time, Mr Abrokwah budges into the room that appeared not to have been locked and found the two lovers naked in bed.

But on a Facebook live feed, she defended her disgraceful act and said that day, as well as Day Ebony died is more popular than the entire career of Kumi Guitar who is not making any meaningful impact in the industry

Kumi Guitar was reported to have said Afia Schwarzenegger was not qualified to criticize Zylofon Media and that she should render an apology to Nana Appiah Mensah.

But in a live Facebook stream, the television personality said she was in JHS when Kumi Guitar launched his music career but she has made strides in life than the entire career of Kumi Guitar.

She indicated that her children are now fifteen years but the only day Kumi Guitar had mercy from bloggers and was talked about online was when he spoke about her.

“Kumi Guitar started music when I was in JHS but I’ve completed and my children are now fifteen years but he has not made any impact with his music. Even the date Ebony died is more popular and relevant than his whole career. Even the date I was caught by that foolish husband in bed with another man is more popular than the career of Kumi Guitar.”

Most female celebrities who are ambassadors for products exchange sex for those positions – Afia Schwar

Controversial comedienne, Afia Schwarzenegger has indicated that most female celebrities have had contracts to become ambassadors for products and institutions because they exchange their sex for such positions.

According to her, she has not had the opportunity to be an ambassador for a product or an institution because she has not cheapened herself to sleep with the big men.

Afioa who was speaking to Accra-based Kasapa FM indicated that some female celebrities although may want to comment on some happenings in the country but cannot do so because they fear a man may come to shame them because he has slept with them.

She said “Some of us we’ve not been brand ambassadors for certain products and institutions because we didn’t allow people to have sex with us.

They’ve not made me the face of whatever because I did not allow them to sleep with me, but that is fine with me. From the way I’m loud mouthed, if I had cheapened myself and allow people to sleep with me, I wouldn’t have been able to speak my mind freely as I’ve always done. You see, most of these popular girls are not able to publicly comment on issues because, they fear they’ll be shamed by men who have slept with them”.

She noted that most big men in Ghana are wicked and will only agree to help young ladies after they have had sexual encounter with them

“A lot of the big men in Ghana are wicked, they only help young after sleeping with them, it’s only a few that are God-fearing.”

I need help to raise my children – Joyce Dzidzor begs Ghanaians

Ex-HIV/AIDS Ambassador Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has called on benevolent Ghanaians to aid her to get out of the deep financial crisis in which she currently finds herself.

She disclosed that she has no means to raise money to support the education of her three children as a single mother.

The reason, she stated, is that no one wants to work with her because of her HIV/AIDS status.

“I am currently not living with my children because I don’t have a place to stay. I am in deep crisis. My medications are also very expensive and I can’t afford it…,” she told NEWS-ONE on Thursday.

“I invested all my money into a barbering shop and a small food joint but people started complaining the food is infected with virus and so people shouldn’t buy from the joint. Everything has collapsed and I lost all my money,” she added.

In December 2014, Dzidzor publicly announced that she lied about her HIV/AIDS status for years and had never tested positive for the disease before working with the Ghana AIDS commission as an HIV/AIDS ambassador.

After that declaration, she has been on several media platforms trying to defend her actions, even though she has received widespread criticisms from Ghanaians and the Ghana AIDS Commission.

However, in 2016, she made a shocking U-turn to say she, indeed, tested positive for the virus. She had to lie about her status to protect her children from stigmatisation.

“It looks like because I have done campaigns and my face is everywhere, it is difficult for people to even work with me. So right with my situation as a single mother with three children and no job, I am pleading with the general public to support me with money to start something to take care of my children,” she pleaded on Thursday.

“I realised that I have destroyed my life just because I tried to protect my children at school by denying my status. I am in crisis now and if people are able to support me and my family, I am willing to come back to work on TV and radio to educate people on HIV & AIDS. When I sleep, I always dream I am still teaching children about HIV & AIDS,” Dzidzor added.
