Outspoken comedienne, radio and TV personality, Afia Schwarzenegger, has described founder of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) as a trickster who has used the Bible to swindle people for decades.
Afia Schwarzenegger waded into the ongoing social media campaign, #IStandWithOtabil which has divided opinions on social media following the collapse of Capital Bank, which had the respected man of God as its Board Chairman.
In a long letter to her followers on Facebook, the controversial slay queen chastised followers of Dr. Mensah Otabil for a needless campaign that seeks to defend him in spite of the fact that he supervised over the collapsed Capital Bank.
According to the hostess, she had chosen not to comment on the issue but the flyers going about with the message #IStandWithOtabil got her annoyed hence her decision to speak her mind.
In her message, Afia Schwarzenegger wondered why Dr. Otabil who has been preaching to people to sow seeds of thousand dollars in order to help their businesses flourish could not sow a seed of $5000 to save the fortunes of the bank he was a Board Chairman of.
She further insinuated: “it is people like Dr. Otabil who have for decades used the bible to trick people of their monies to enrich themselves yet have done very little in terms of giving back to the society”.
Afia Schwarzenegger wondered why Ghanaians listen to “a man that watches animal kingdom yet preaches to human beings”.
