Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson is always in the news mostly for the bad reason.
The beautiful Ghanaian actress has on many occasions been on the bad side of people’s lips due to her behavior. Do not forget that she had a bad encounter with one Ghanaian journalist when Kafui Danku organized a press conference for her upcoming movie.
Source reported that Yvonne Nelson threw insults at Shatta Wale at this year’s 4syte Music Video Awards which happened on November 14 at the Accra International Conference Center. These are not the only things we have heard about Yvonne Nelson in relation to her relationship with people.
EonlineGhana gathers the tall list of enemies Yvonne Nelson has created for herself since she entered this showbiz industry. Below is how it was reported.
To make it to the top of the Ghanaian movie industry, you have to be ruthless. Ghanaian long legged actress Yvonne Nelson may not be on top of her game at the moment, but we understand she has left a slew of haters, hating in her wake. And now that we’ve phrased it like that, it probably means they’re less like mere haters, and more like fallen heroes.
Here is a list of people Ghana Vibes has compiled who valiantly challenged the person responsible for gracing your screens once in a while.
1. John Dumelo
John Dumelo was once Yvonne Nelson’s partner in crime — the two were inseparable and were seen together virtually everywhere until things between them went sour. It all began through a Tweet by John Dumelo saying Yvonne had stabbed him in the back in connection with the past #DumsorMustStop vigil when the Princess Tyra actress described him as an “as* kisser”. Despite the tension, Yvonne says John is “still my boo”.
2. Yvonne’s Dad
Yvonne Nelson has never seen eye to eye with his father Mr. Oko Nelson. According to her, her father was never happy with her birth. She bitterly disclosed this by saying:
“WHEN I WAS BORN, I GUESS, MY FATHER WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT MY BIRTH, SO HE WASN’T THERE FOR ME. HE CHOSE NOT TO BE A PART OF MY LIFE; A SINGLE MOTHER RAISED ME. SHE TRAINED ME FROM KINDERGARTEN TO UNIVERSITY. MY FATHER WAS NEVER THERE. THAT CREATED A VACUUM IN MY CHILDHOOD. BUT I’M GRATEFUL THAT I HAD MY MUM AND SHE DID ALL SHE COULD TO MAKE SURE THAT I LACKED NOTHING.”
3. Sandra Ankobiah
They were best of friends; at least, that was what their fans were made to believe with the many pictures the two ladies posted of themselves on social media daily, and then all that suddenly stopped.
Even though they both have denied there is bad blood between them, Yvonne Nelson confirmed on Delay’s Show some time ago that they were not as close as they used to be and that, “ it was time, she let her [Sandra Ankobiah] go”.
But Sandra admitted on the same show later that she misses Yvonne sometimes.
4. Yvonne Okoro
Yvonne Nelson and Okoro were once inseparable. These two actresses started as two beautiful friends until their relationship hit the rocks. What brewed as a rumor had it that Okoro could no longer take the incessant attention-seeking attitude of Nelson and this is one of the main reasons they are no longer pals.
Though the two have constantly debunked the rumor, but their attitudes towards each other speaks volume even in broad daylight.
The story between Yvonne Nelson and Nigerian musician Iyanya is nothing new. They once dated but ended their relationship after the guy got what he was interested in.
After that experience, Yvonne is said to have lost interest in Iyanya and men in general.
