Unruly boss, Popcaan wept as he stood in front of the ‘Door of No Return’ entrance at Cape Coast Castle.
He visited the Cape Coast Castle to have a feel of the rich culture and of course have a fair knowledge of the pains and struggles our forefathers went through.
He posted photos of himself at the entrance of the Castle with the caption;
“This place and the story about it makes me very sad honestly😥…. #capecoastcastle GHANA 🇬🇭 read and educate yourself about your past and history🤦🏿♂️,” – Popcaan posted.
Cape Coast Castle (Swedish: Carolusborg) is one of about forty “slave castles”, or large commercial forts, built on the Gold Coast of West Africa (now Ghana) by European traders.
It was originally a Portuguese “feitoria” or trading post, established in 1555.
