Popularly called Maame Dokono, she was the first writer of the popular ‘Osofo Dadzie’ series which was aired in the 70’s. Her most popular TV program that kids used to love was ‘By the Fireside’, where she talked about Ghanaian folklore stories.
She also starred in several Ghanaian movies. She later went into politics, where she contested for a parliamentary seat on the ticket of the NDC in 2004 before later defecting to the NPP in 2008.
