2018 Black Entertainment Television Awards nominee, Kwesi Arthur has revealed he could not realise his dream of becoming a lawyer because he was unable to have access to his WASSCE results over failure to pay his school fees.
The former student of Tema Senior High School (Temasco), said his inability to retrieve his results thwarted his plans of furthering his education at Ghana’s premiere university, the University of Ghana.
“I wanted to go to University of Ghana to study psychology and hopefully after that I’ll go and do law. But it didn’t go as planned because while at Temasco, I had arrears to pay so I wasn’t able to see my results,” Kwesi Arthur disclosed.
Years after leaving Temasco, the Tema-based artiste says he is still owning his alma mater.
“I’m still owing. As I speak to you now, I still haven’t paid my fees. I’ve to go and settle them,” he told Delay while laughing.
The fast-rising rap sensation said he was frustrated when he realised his dreams of pursuing tertiary education could not be achieved.
But for his music talent, Kwesi Arthur’s life possibly would have been miserable as he claims he didn’t have any “plans B” for the future.
